“ Y’all have got to try this duck!! Oh my gosh. Everything was so so good. I had 3 tacos: duck, fish, and veggie. They were all scrumptious and SO FRESH. And I showed up 20 minutes before they closed. Get here STAT. So so so good. ”
“ Super delicious tacos! Their roasted duck and quesabirria tacos were my top favorites. The duck was oh so flavorful and tender, while the quesabirria had just the right balance of juicy spice and savory cheese. Everything down to the chips and guac here were fantastic. To top it off, the service here is over the top amazing. Everyone on the staff was so incredibly friendly. They made me feel like I was home. I highly recommend a visit to Frank Grizzly's! ”
“ I don’t go to bayshore often, but saw great reviews of this place online and wanted to check it out with my friends. Very glad we went - the food was amazing and the staff was so friendly and welcoming. Definitely would recommend!! ”
“ Daaaang. First time here today, rolling up 45 minutes before they closed this Sunday, having dragged my husband along with the siren call of Tacoooos! On the way there, he said he was just going to get a drink as he already had a big breakfast after a 5K run with a friend -- but he could not resist, and got himself a shrimp taco which he promptly inhaled after the friendly husband of the husband and wife owner super duo dropped off the hot creations of his wife who was manning the grill -- props all around for the genuine warmth of service from them both! Plus also the enthusiasm from the sweet blond spiky-haired waitress who was hustling to get orders in. I got 2 tacos -- the Quesabirria and the Veggie. The Quesabirria was MIND-BLOWING, the perfect spicy combo of beef and cheese, OMG. My cardiologist would for sure wag a finger at me, but sometimes, you just have to follow your passions ;-) I also balanced that beefy cheesiness with a lighter, delicious, fresh vegetable taco, with zucchini and yellow squash and other friendly vegs which escape my memory. For a drink, their Aqua Fresca of the day (Watermelon) which was a gorgeous pink, not too sweet, and very refreshing. Perfect afternoon to sit at one of their cute yellow tables outside in the sun and embrace your inner taco-loving beast. Side note on the sides: their sauces and their chips are ROCKING. Thank God there were just a modest amount of 4 hefty chips served with my 2 tacos, because I might have exploded otherwise. It was plenty of food! Next up on my list, those Super Frankie Nachos, topped with duck (or other proteins or vegs of your choice)... In my dreams until then! ”
“ Loved the shrimp, quesabirria, and duck tacos. This place is master of the cheese skirt. Chips are freshly fried here as well. Everything was seasoned perfectly. Would always be down to swing by when I’m in the area. ”
“ Vibes - immaculate. Food - mouthwatering. You can't go wrong with anything here. I dream of the breakfast tacos and grizzly dillas and the quesabirria. Everything is made with fresh ingredients that showcase the best of Cali Mex cuisine. Even the salsa and tortilla chips are perfect. Absolutely no skips on the menu. Also, Frank and Grizzly (Kim and Jorge) are the best people you could hope to meet. The community of music, art, and love they're cultivating is part of what makes SF so special. ”
“ Hey, hold on to your hats because I am about to reveal a hidden gem that I have just discovered! I almost kept it a secret just for us, but I couldn't resist sharing it with you. This place is absolutely amazing! The way they elevate their food is out of this world, and their duck dish is simply divine. Can you believe it, duck in the city - yum! The service is top-notch and the ambiance is just perfect. From the music to the overall vibe, this place is a must-visit. Get ready to have your taste buds blown away! ”
“ These are hands down the most innovative tacos in the city. The flavors are beyond this world. I was blown away by the fish tacos! But what really stands out is the service. Kim learns your name and makes you feel like a regular even if it's your first time there. You lI spend a lot more money than your normal taqueria but it's well worth it. If they weren’t as far, I would eat lunch there every weekend. ”
